If you’re a young person who wants to start volunteering, or if you’re already a young community leader, there’s something at United Way for you to get involved in.
It all starts with the Youth Relations Council. We’re a group of young people who work with United Way to make sure youth have a voice in our community and that they have an opportunity to make a difference. Our job is to connect you with other young leaders and help you develop the skills you need to take action on the issues that are important to you. We’re also here to celebrate your accomplishments.
The Youth Relations Council is made up of people like you. Most of us already volunteer with programs like Youth Connections or the Student Leadership Conference. Some of us have worked or volunteered at organizations funded by United Way. All of us are committed leaders who believe that youth are making a difference in the community, and we’re excited about our role at United Way.
