Plans are underway for the 2009 United Way Student Leadership Conference, so mark your calendar’s and save the date for Tuesday, November 3rd.
This year’s all day conference will be held at Stereo Nightclub and will feature a circuit of activities and group discussions intended to get young people charged about Winnipeg’s most important issues and the role they can play in creating lasting change in our city.
Generously sponsored by Great West Life, the Student Leadership Conference is held annually to encourage leadership and volunteerism among high school students within the Winnipeg community.

Hi there!
I’m the Co-Leader of St. Mary’s Academy’s Human Rights Team for the 2009-2010 school year and am interested in attending this conference. I heard about it through a friend, and was just wondering if (when available) United Way would be able to send me registration sheets or more info regarding this conference for me to pass on to fellow students at my school?
