Plans for the 4th annual Youth Day of Caring are well underway! This year’s event is sure to be as fun and exciting as it has been in past years. On Friday May 22, students will meet at St. John’s Leisure Centre, and will branch out to United Way partner agencies from there.
In each of the past three years, over 100 students from Winnipeg high schools have come together to work alongside United Way partner agencies to complete much needed hands-on projects. The event offers high school students the opportunity to connect with other students while learning about and contributing to our community.
Save the date, Friday May 22, 2009…More details to come!

Hello,
I am in the process of graduating from The School of Child and Youth Care in Victoria, BC. I am moving to Winnipeg in May and would love to volunteer for this event to help out and get to know the Winnipeg community. Please let me know if you need any help.
Sincerely, Holly Wiebe

Hi!
I’d love to get involved with this Youth Day of Caring, and even tell others from my school about it. Please email me with any more info or registration forms. Thank you!
