We’re excited to let you all know that Winnipeggers have raised more than $17.9 million for the community through United Way’s 2008 campaign!
Campaign Cabinet Chair Bob Silver made the announcement at Portage Place earlier today.
THANK YOU to all of the students and staff from the schools, colleges and universities in Winnipeg who donated money, organized special events and told your friends about United Way.
The money you raised will help to change lives by offering kids an alternative to the streets, helping families become financially independent and building safe, healthy neighbourhoods.
