A big congratulations to Youth Relations Council member Michael Champagne, who was given a Manitoba Aboriginal Youth Achievement Award recently!
Michael received his award for outstanding commitment to community and volunteerism in the Senior Youth category.
For more than two years, Michael’s been a member of the Youth Relations Council. He’s also on staff at the Ndinawe Youth Resource Centre, where he mentors other youth who live in the Selkirk Avenue area. His enthusiasm for youth and community issues is contagious and he’s become a very popular speaker at youth conferences and other presentations in Winnipeg.
