a picture of the old websiteRaising money for the community is a challenge, but it’s also a lot of fun. On September 21st, we kicked off United Way’s 2007 Campaign in style. Plane Pull IV: Only Everyone brought almost 1500 people together to compete in two categories – competitive teams got to pull a Boeing 727, while teams that were out to have some fun got to pull a McDonnel Douglas DC-9.

Before the Plane Pull, Heather Grant-Jury (United Way’s 2007 Campaign Chair) announced that this year’s fundraising goal is almost $16.5 million!

Every year, high school and university students organize special events to raise money for United Way. We appreciate your efforts. Every single dollar counts – all of the money raised goes toward United Way’s work in the community.
