We’ve made some big changes to our website, and there will be a few more coming over the next several days and weeks.
“What was wrong with your old website?”, you might ask. Absolutely nothing. It looked nice and provided lots of information about all of the youth programs at United Way. But since we launched that site in 2005, the web has changed a lot, and we thought we’d change along with it.
You’ll still find basic information about all of our youth programs here. We also hope to make the site more informative and entertaining by adding a regular video feature and stories about youth who are doing interesting things to make a difference in the community.
The young people who volunteer with United Way’s various youth committees (the Youth Relations Council, the Youth Connections Council, the SLC planning committee, and others) will be able to write their own articles, and you’ll be able to add your own comments.
We hope that you’ll come back every now and then – and please let us know what you think about the site and give us your ideas about how to make it more useful for you.
